Cycle/Mountainbike Tour: The Scar Road

This is one of the most well known and challenging rides in the Kathmandu Valley. The tour commences with a 34 kilometres climb on the winding paved road that leads to Trishuli and the heart of Langtang. Once at the top we turn off and climb up the last five kilometres steep section of road. On a clear day the views of the Himalaya are pretty spectacular. Once in the national park the trail becomes narrow and technical. In the national park we traverse the jungle with a cliff drop on one side and test your technical riding with some fast and furious downhill. Be sure to keep your eyes on the trail and not the mountains though, tempting as it may be!
