Day One - Patan and Village Tour Bungmati & Khokana

After breakfast our journey proceeds to Patan Darbar square which is located 5km. southeast of Kathmandu. You will be taken to Durbar Square which is full of medieval arts and crafts from 15th to 17th century combined with the flavor of local culture and posterity of medieval tradition to the people now. Our local guide will inform you about the square in detail. After spending wo hours at Patan Darbar Square our tour proceeds to Bungmati and Khokana known as unspoiled Newari villages and open farm lands of Kathmandu. You will have an interesting time there meeting with the local people with unique lifestyle still preserved from the ancient time. We take our lunch with an unique environment and climb up the hill to observe the landscape and local life through "birds eyes".

Day Two - Kathmandu & Bhaktapur

After breakfast our morning excursion begins in Kathmandu valley. You will be taken to Swayambhunath first. This monastery/temple has an incomparable atmosphere. It is situated amidst a beautiful natural scenario on the top of the hill surrounded by several other hills. The whole Kathmandu Valley can be viewed quite clearly from the top of the hill.

After that you will be taken to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhhanath Stupa. In Pashupatinath temple you will observe different ceremonies and the ways of worshipping. The most interesting scene here is the cremation place on the edge of the river and next to the temple. You can see how the funeral taking place according to Hindu Culture. After this we will proceed to Bhaktapur, one of the medieval cities. Most popularly Bhaktapur is known as the living museum because of its traditional lifestyle and Newari culture .In Bhaktapur we will visit beautiful buildings with ancient arts and architecture like the highest temple in Nepal and many other attractions. Besides the touristic places, we will walk through the "local"bstreets within the city which will give an impression of local life style and daily activities. During our city tour we will enjoy a lunch in a restaurant where they serve traditional local dishes.

From Bhaktapur we will continue our trip to Nagarkot where we will spend the night in a hotel. Nagarkot is situated amidst the beautiful natural scenario of the Everest Mountain Range. With clear skies it is possible to observe the Mount Everest and the other large mountains of the North Eastern Himalayas.

Day Three - Trek Nagarkot

You will be woken up early in the morning before breakfast to view the breathtaking sunrise. After that we will proceed to the hotel for breakfast and prepare for a short hike. During hiking you will view a panoramic natural scenario along with the Mount Everest and some other snow capped mountains.Download as PDF Our hike will be of an easy level and should be suitable for all in the surrounding villages. You can communicate with the local people which will surely boost your energy for further hiking. During our hike we will take a rest and enjoy our lunch. After approximately 6 to7 hours hiking, we will be back at the hotel and our group will proceed back to Kathmandu. Depending on your wishes we can arrange your accommodation for this night.
