Kanchenjunga Trek

The Kanchenjunga region trekking is named after the world’s third highest mountain and is situated in the north eastern corner of Nepal, bordering with the Indian state (Sikkim). It is one of the most remote and beautiful trekking destination in Nepal, offering infinite variety of landscapes, ethnic cultures and panoramic views of Himalayas. At the beginning of the trekking we walk through the low lands of terraced fields, colorful villages, green forests of rhododendron to the alpine region. As the trail gains altitude, gorgeous views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu & Kanchenjunga, the world’s highest mountains make the trek most rewarding. Musk deer and blue sheep are mostly found here and also the abominable snowman YETI is believed to exist here. It is inhabited by a few scattered population and is a real wild terrain of the country.

Day 08. Khambachen 4040m (Acclimatization).
