Jungle Safari in Nepal

Nepal is well known for its Himalayas. Nevertheless the lowlands are equally beautiful. The lowlands are known as the Terai which are around 100 meters above sea level and have subtropical climate.

The world heritage site listed- Chitwan National Park is situated only 170 KM from Kathmandu and 150KM from Pokhara. The National Park protects 932 sq Km of Sal forest and is home to rare species like The Royal Bengal Tigers, One Horned Rhinos, Marsh Magars, Indian Elephants etc. Moreover it is a birdwatchers’ paradise with abundance of local and migrating birds to see.
